MUSIC BIO

Shane Theo Joseph is a gifted musician, boldly exploring the Classical Guitar beyond its traditional roots and into the worlds of Folk, Ragtime, Latin America, Jazz & Blues, and modern day. 

Born in the UK, Shane is from a musical family and was taught the classical guitar by his father at the age of 8.

He completed guitar recital diplomas directed by the world-famous Trinity College London early on in his career, achieving the prestigious Licentiate of Trinity College London (LTCL) Professional Diploma at only 25 years of age.

The guitarist has taken masterclasses with leading figures in the classical guitar world, including Ana Vidovic, David Russell, Leo Brouwer, Margarita Escarpa, and Xeufei Yang. 

Shane regularly performs and is a warm and entertaining musician, captivating audiences through a masterful portrayal of depth, passion and expressiveness.

He is currently working on his own compositions, with "Midtown Breeze" recently being awarded a 5-star rating from the UK Songwriting Contest (UKSC).
